“Is being unique truly a blessing?” I rustled with that question A LOT, growing up. I always felt too different, too weird and too much for the people around me. But at the same time, I felt as if I was called for something more. Something that maybe if I wasn’t who I was, I would never be able to achieve it. This book was inspired by that feeling. That feeling of being chosen but also not being sure of what that meant or looked like. It follows the life of a 15 year old boy, who explores that same question and takes the difficult journey into becoming the person that he was always meant to be.
